Filtration, airflow and heat are the key considerations when designing a new intake system for a turbocharged engine. Our do88 intake system has been developed to provide the turbo with good filtration, improved airflow path while also maintaining low inlet temperatures. Our design distinguishing from most aftermarket intake systems, we've taken the additional steps by developing a custom turbo inlet that replace the OE's restrictive plastic inlet.

This kit comes in 2 versions:

  1. Including the do88 Turbo inlet hose and 3” Turbo inlet pipe.
  2. The intake system alone. Connects to the OEM plastic Turbo inlet hose.

Tests conducted in our SuperFlow SF1020 flow bench, clearly demonstrates the importance of this optional Turbo inlet hose and pipe. The intake system alone offers a substantial XX % airflow increase. Combined with the do88 Turbo inlet hose and 3” inlet pipe, the overall airflow increase is a whopping XX%! We strongly recommend this combination.

Our intake system is designed to improve the flow and lower the negative pressure and at the same time only draw cold air. Many aftermarket intake systems draw hot air from the engine compartment, resulting in very high IAT and therefore loss in power and performance. Our system is a true cold air intake.

Always be aware of that the EM intake system and air filter was designed for the power level the car was built for originally. A power increase may cause your stock intake system to not perform well enough. If your intake system doesn´t have the performance you need it will be to harder for the turbocharger to get the air it needs which will lower engine effeciency and this will make you loose hp. So even on an engine with a software tune, the do88 intake system will give a performance increase over the OEM air box!
